Introductions

Contact Introduces

Multiple contact options
There a couple people I know want to meet you.
Single contact option
I've got someone I'd like you to meet.

Level 10-14

I'd like to introduce you to Dr. Dmitri Krylov. He was a metahuman researcher in the Soviet Union before it collapsed. He came to the Rogue Isles in order to continue his work. Some of his connections can still get him Technology and Science Enhancements.

He's a brilliant researcher with flexible morals. All in all, a valuable contact.

Have you met Dr. Shelly Percey? Technically, she's not a real doc, since she got kicked out of medical school for, shall we say, unorthodox techniques. But she's been using that title since she's been here. She's deeply interested in super powers, both natural and artificially created. She can give you some good tips on the Goldbrickers. She's got a lot of connections in the medical community, which get her Mutation and Science Enhancements.

Shelly's a bit strange. Scary, even. Sometimes I think her thirst for knowledge has made her a little insane.

Have you met Peter Themari yet? Well, you should count yourself lucky. Themari's the nastiest old soul Cap au Diable has ever known; even being in his presence is a little sickening. Still, he knows a lot. He could give a boost to your career. And he can get his hands on Mutant and Magic Enhancements, if that's what you need.

You can learn a lot from Themari, so long as you don't make the mistake of trusting him.

Level 15-19

Marshal Brass is the head of all Arachnos forces for Cap au Diable. He works directly under Dr. Aeon, and rumor has it, isn't too happy about that fact. He might have some work for a freelancer like you. He can get you all the Technology and Natural enhancements you need.

The Marshal is taciturn and gruff, and not known for much of a sense of humor. Considering that he has to spend most of his time cleaning up Dr. Aeon's messes, it's a wonder he's even that personable.

You know man calls himself the Golden Roller? Smart, this one. Always looking for talent. Is high profile troubleshooter for a high-tech gang called the Goldbrickers. He might have some profitable jobs for you.

Oh yes—he doesn't like being seen in person, but you can find him in his car. You want Science, Technology Enhancements? He set you up.

Golden Roller is high-class operator. Dosvidanya!

If you're interested in the arcane arts, you should really speak with Ashley McKnight. It's in her blood... literally. Her father is a member of a group called The Midnight Squad. She's been doing some work with him and the group for awhile now. Who knows what trouble she's getting into.

She's over at the University in Cap au Diable. Hope you find what you're looking for.

This may be scraping the bottom of the barrel, but I know this guy named Willy 'Dealer' Wheeler. He likes to think of himself as a big time player, but he's really small time. Still, he's been getting some big leads as of late, and might be worth checking in to. Tell you the truth, I'd like to see the two of you working together. It might prove entertaining. Willy may be a joke, but at least he can get his hands on Mutant and Magic Enhancements.

If you can tolerate him, he might provide you with some good leads.

Information

Broker

Desdemona is without a doubt Cap au Diable's snappiest dresser. She has more 'Best Dressed' awards than she has diamonds, and that's saying something. Those diamonds are how she got her nickname. When the light shines on her, she 'glints'.

Wrong Broker

Sorry, sweetie. I only work with the fabulously well-dressed. Maybe you should talk to Boris the Russian. He seems more your--style.

Too Low Level

I have something for you, hon, but you need a little more bling. Come back when you're Threat Level 10.

Initial Contact

Well hello, good-looking. I love your costume. What a fabulous fashion-sense you have! In fact, I like you so much I'll let you in on a little secret. You go out there and do your own thing, and when I hear about certain jobs going down around town, I'll put a coded message in the Newspaper for you to come see me. Dig?

Now that you've been introduced to your Broker, you can start scanning the Rogue Isles Protector, the local newspaper, for things going on in your current zone. You can then act on one of your 'Schemes' by selecting it from the newspaper, listed under your Contacts.

After every 3 successful Schemes, your Broker will tip you off to Heists and other special missions, as well as introduce you to new Contacts with stories and missions of their own.

Greeting

  • Hey sugar. I don't have anything exciting for you now, but come back when you've finished your business and we can talk.
  • I'm afraid this town's dead right now, Character. Check back later and I'll let you know if anything's happening.

Too Busy

Woah! Slow down, tiger! You're too busy for me right now. When you've finished some of your own schemes I'll probably have something for you though.

Missions

Rob Kings Row bank

While looking for today's headlines, you see Contact has planted a secret message just for you. It says to stop by for a tip on a really big job.

Briefing

Ready to cause some mayhem in Paragon City? Go to Kings Row and hit one of the banks there. Once you hit Kings Row you'll have 15 minutes to rob the bank and escape.

This is a Mayhem Mission. You can earn extra time by destroying property and creating diversions away from the bank itself.

Each type of item rewards a single time bonus after you destroy a certain amount of that item. For each person on your team, you will need to destroy more of that particular item to get the time bonus.

Two random side missions can be found on this map. Keys (found by defeating certain enemies) are needed to unlock these side missions. Each completed side mission also rewards a time bonus.

Every character that is at least level 10 receives a special temporary power the first time they successfully complete this mission.
