Definition

Diminishing Returns
  1. A system of reducing the total effects of large or stacked buffs on players in Player vs Player combat.
  2. A system of reducing the number of Reward Merits or Incarnate Merits awarded for repeatedly completing the same Task Force, Strike Force, or Trial (including Incarnate Trials) too often within a given time period.
  3. (not capitalized) Any system that causes additional effort or bonuses to provide progressively less additional benefit than normal, such as Enhancement Diversification.
