Glowing Shrapnel

This jagged piece of metal still hums with a strange energy - the same power that allowed Clamor to challenge the Freedom Phalanx itself. You find yourself wondering Clamor had a hand in her own empowerment, or if she was just a pawn of...

Powers at Play

When Wavelength originally requested that you assist the Phalanx in their duties, you knew you'd be taking on a heavy responsibility - just not quite so abruptly. During your meeting with the Positron, the Clockwork King sent his minions to attack, and whisked away the newest member, Penelope Yin. The Phalanx split up to pursue the fleeing Clockwork, but you managed to track down their escape to a warehouse in Atlas Park. There, you found the Clockwork King and Penelope in the middle of a heated argument, but Penelope seemed to be safe from any immediate danger.

Unfortunately, after leaving the warehouse, Wavelength informed you that Positron and Numina had been ambushed during their search of Skyway City. The local Superadine-empowered gang, the Trolls, had somehow managed to overpower them, and Wavelength requested your assistance. You rushed to Skyway and rescued both Positron and Numina, and faced down the Trolls' leader, Atta. The trolls in Skyway seemed to be empowered by something beyond their drugs... as though an external force had granted them tremendous power.

Upon returning to Fort Trident, you met with the Freedom Phalanx, who were recovering from their battle and investigating the source of the strange energy that empowered the Trolls. Citadel detected a similar energy surge near City Hall, and Positron asked you to investigate. When you emerged from Fort Trident, you found City Hall being attacked by the Talons of Vengeance and their Freakshow allies. Their ringleader appeared to be Clamor, who had joined with the Talons and was empowered with the same energy as the Trolls. After defeating Clamor, the Freedom Phalanx joined you in her interrogation, and Penelope Yin managed to extract crucial information from her: the source of her empowerment was the ancient mythological artifact called Pandora's Box.
