Aha! Figured it out. On Sharkhead Isle, there's a Rikti Monkey Fight Club kinda thing where every five minutes, there's a battle between the monkeys in question. the Villa Requin map used in the Pocket D mission is, for all intents and purposes, a restricted version of Sharkhead Isle. The devs probably forgot to take out the Rikti Monkey code. Having said that, when they try to spawn at their normal location--the arena--they end up being clipped over to the correct side of the force field, which is the extreme northwest corner of the map. Therefore, after five minutes have ellapsed when the map is instanced, Rikti Monkeys will do battle. There is no code to detect a winner, however, since that appears to be based on which monkeys remain in the cage, so only one battle will ever take place on this map. --GuyPerfect 13:47, 12 May 2007 (EDT)

:I beg to differ. I went in with a stopwatch and zoomed up to the corner after making Snaptooth stay put. Exactly, and I do mean exactly, five minutes after the mission was instanced, the monkeys magically appeared. --GuyPerfect 21:10, 12 May 2007 (EDT)
:: o.o my experience has always been that the monkeys have already started fighting and have killed several of each other by the time I manage to get to the corner they're in. This certainly was the case when the event was just added, but I'll go check next time I'm on to make sure. --Sleepy Kitty 12:59, 14 May 2007 (EDT)

Hordlings

Hordeling Lashers have a level range of 8-15. Hordeling Hurlers have a level range of 12-15. Hordling Berserkers have a level range of 15-25. This is all some older data, so it might have been changed. User:StarGeek/sig 18:15, 27 February 2007 (PST)

Rikti Monkeys

The monkeys are mentioned as being a "cool bug," but I'm fairly certain it's an easter egg. Why is it that it isn't exactly described what happens? GuyPerfect 18:47, 27 February 2007 (PST)

I beg to differ. I went in with a stopwatch and zoomed up to the corner after making Snaptooth stay put. Exactly, and I do mean exactly, five minutes after the mission was instanced, the monkeys magically appeared. --GuyPerfect 21:10, 12 May 2007 (EDT)
