Several of the weapons that can be changed are Assault Rifle, Mercenaries/Assault Rifle, Axe, Bow, Broadsword, Claws, Villain Claws, Dual Blades, Katana, Ninja Blade, Mace, Robotics/Pulse Rifle, and Thugs/Dual Pistols.
All weapons are selectable individually, including any dual-handed weapon sets being able to select different weapons in each hand. For instance, a Thugs/Trick Arrow Mastermind is able to select left hand pistol, right hand pistol, and bow separately.

There are many available choices for individual weapon selections, including a number taken from the various in-game NPCs; all choices are available to any character with an appropriate weapon (regardless of the description of options below as "default" or "unlockable"), and more choices are available than those listed below - most notably that more NPC weapon options have been added and shared between powersets (eg Broadsword can use the Rapier originally for Dual Blades or the Grave Knight Sword used by Zombies Masterminds' summons), and the Arachnos weapons share most of the Assault Rifle / War Mace options.


There will be many, many available choices for individual weapon selections, including a number taken from the various in-game NPCs.  The majority of possible selections will be available to the appropriate ATs at creation time. Many selections will need to be unlocked before they can actually be used.  These unlockable ones will primarily be weapons linked to particular NPC groups.  Unlockable weapons have the potential to be unlocked by any method that can currently unlock costume pieces, including as recipe drops.  However in this initial release unlockable weapons are being linked to existing faction badges[http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=general&Number=9312377&bodyprev=#Post9312377], with the exception of a couple of [[Vanguard]] related weapons that will be craftable at the Vanguard Invention Tables with Vanguard merits.[http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=general&Number=9307054&bodyprev=#Post9307054]

Overview

Weapon Customization is a system released with Issue 11 where players can select the look of drawn weapons for those power sets that use drawn weapons. Weapon Customization is essentially a costume option that is only available to certain power sets. Changing your weapon model in no way changes the effects of the powers that use them.

The weapons that can be changed are:

All weapons are selectable individually, including any dual-handed weapon sets being able to select different weapons in each hand. For instance, a Thugs/Trick Arrow Mastermind is able to select left hand pistol, right hand pistol, and bow separately.

There are many available choices for individual weapon selections, including a number taken from the various in-game NPCs; all choices are available to any character with an appropriate weapon (regardless of the description of options below as "default" or "unlockable"), and more choices are available than those listed below - most notably that more NPC weapon options have been added and shared between powersets (eg Broadsword can use the Rapier originally for Dual Blades or the Grave Knight Sword used by Zombies Masterminds' summons), and the Arachnos weapons share most of the Assault Rifle / War Mace options.

Additionally, Shield Customization is available for Shield Defense, and Power Customization is available for weaponless power sets.
