Contact Introduces

Your reputation in Paragon City has grown. The people have come to respect you and many good citizens are seeking your help. Go see Detective Becktrees to be introduced to a new Contact.

Multiple contact options
Some people I know want to meet you.
Single contact option
I've got someone I want you to meet.

Level 5-9

You should think about talking to Detective Jose Brogan. He's pretty intense, but he's a great cop and a good person to know if you are looking for information on the Lost. His beat is Atlas Park.

Detective Brogan will let you in on some interesting cases.

Have you ever met Paula Dempsey? She's a real pistol and has a great deal of information on the Clockwork. You'll like her, and I'll bet she'll like you as well. Paula hangs out in Kings Row.

Paula has high standards, but I have no doubt you will live up to them, Character.

You should talk to Maurice Feldon some time. He keeps track of anything that's going on in the science world. He's particularly interested in the Clockwork King. Maurice's company is in Galaxy City so you can usually find him there.

Maurice may be a little reckless, but he is very intelligent and he means well.

I'd like you to meet Ron Hughes. He's a reporter, and lately he's been interested in the Skulls. Ron's magazine is located in Kings Row, so that's where he can be found.

Ron believes that science should be used for the good of all.

Juan Jimenez is a great photographer, and he's always got his ear to the ground. You should talk to him and see if he's following any big stories on the Skulls. Juan is currently covering a story in Kings Row.

Juan is always eager to help, and he knows where the action is.

Tony Kord is a good person to know. He knows what's happening in the city, especially where the Clockwork are concerned, and he'll often suggest solutions. Tony's company is in Atlas Park, so he usually hangs out there.

Deal honestly with Tony if you want his help.

You should consider introducing yourself to Laurence Mansfield. He is one of the more personable county coroners. He can be a very helpful resource on the Hellions and the Circle of Thorns. He is located in Atlas Park.

Mansfield has a strange sense of humor sometimes.

There's an EMT named Paco Sanchez who'd like to meet you. He's not only great at his job, but he also works well with heroes, tipping them off whenever he sees something interesting going on with the Hellions and the Circle of Thorns. Paco can be found in Atlas Park.

Paco primarily cares about saving lives.

You should introduce yourself to Genevieve Sanders. She's a pharmacist with a heart of gold who does a lot of community work, and she loves to help heroes against the Hellions and the Circle of Thorns. Genevieve is near the hospital in Kings Row.

She is one of the nicest people I know.

There's a young reporter named Linda Summers who you might enjoy chatting with. She's always pursuing some crime related story, especially stories dealing with the Skulls. Linda's latest scoop has her in Kings Row.

Linda responds well to directness and fair treatment.

There's a detective who you should meet. Rachel Torres knows all about the happenings on the streets, and can probably give you good leads on the Lost. She can be located in Atlas Park.

Detective Torres is tough and efficient; you might learn a thing or two from her.

Have you heard of Hero Corps? They're a business that matches heroes up with jobs. There's a liaison named Henry Peter Wong there who's taking on new clients. You should chat with him about the Vahzilok menace. Hero Corps has Mr. Wong in Atlas Park.

Wong is pretty gung ho about Hero Corps; there's no denying that he will keep you busy.

Level 10-14

I suggest you see if Jill Pastor from the FCC has anything for you. She's always looking for heroes to help her out with the Vahzilok. Jill's offices are in Skyway City.

Jill is very serious about catching the bad guys and is willing to give valuable info to any hero who can get the job done.

There's this kid, Alfonse Rubel, who's a courier. He zips all over the city, delivering important packages and messages. He sees a lot of what's going down with the Lost and the Skulls. Al's route has him in Steel Canyon for the next few days.

Alfonse is almost always on the move. If you catch him at rest, he can help you out.

Dr. Trevor Seaborn expressed an interest in meeting you when I told him about your good work. He's a psychiatrist specializing in criminal behavior, and an expert on the Hellions and the Circle of Thorns. Dr. Seaborn is in Steel Canyon.

Trevor has a brilliant mind, and his insights on criminal behavior are invaluable.

Information

Police Liaison

Detective Becktrees is one of the most friendly cops on the force, and many heroes have started their careers with his help.

Wrong Detective

Aw, jeez, Character. I'd love to help you, but I think you're supposed to talk to my partner, Freitag. He'll steer you right.

Too Low Level

I am so glad you want to help, but maybe you should wait a bit. Until you're about Security level 5 or so, at least.

Initial Contact

Hi there Character. I'm Detective Becktrees, PPD. Detective Freitag's my partner, and we're here to help you get started with things. Okay, the way this works is, you keep an ear out on the police radio, and anytime you can help us, we'll appreciate it. After you've done enough to prove yourself, if anything big comes up, we'll try to get in touch with you directly.

Now that you've gotten a Police Radio, you can start scanning Police chatter to hear about the crimes as they're committed in your current zone. You can then act on a report by selecting it from the Police Radio, listed under your Contacts.

Greeting

  • Thank goodness, it's Character!
  • Lookin' good, Character.
  • Character! Good to see you!

Outlevelled Contact

I'm afraid I don't have anything for you to do

Too Busy

Look, I've seen all the things you're doing, and I think you already have a lot to do. Things are calm right now. Take the opportunity to get things finished. We can handle if for now.

No More Missions

There's nothing going on right now. Things are so quiet, you can hear Freitag unwind.

Missions

Protect Atlas Park bank

While listening for the latest signs of trouble, you hear a call asking for heroes to speak with Contact directly. Something big is happening.

Briefing

We've learned that a Villain from the Rogue Isles has come to Paragon City, intent on causing destruction in Atlas Park, in order to rob the bank there. And this villain has enlisted an army of Vahzilok to do it. We need heroes to go to Atlas Park and protect the bank from that villain! The robbers are already at the bank, you should make your way there immediately. You probably have about 5 minutes or less before they make their escape.

This is a Safeguard mission. Once you prevent the heist, you will have 15 minutes to explore the area and potentially earn extra rewards before the P.P.D. lock down the area. You can earn extra time by defeating vandals and completing side missions.

Mission Acceptance

Word of the coming heist has spread through the underworld, and there are rumors that the Hellions will be on the street trying to take advantage of the situation. While the bank and the villain are your main objective, stopping any random crimes could save a lot of people.

Periodically, vandals will arrive to destroy parts of the city. You will see a message when they arrive, and their locations will be displayed in your minimap.

What?! I understand, Character. You no doubt have some very important things to do. We'll do our best to stop them, but it doesn't look good.
