Devs broke accolade nomenclature
Certain Issue 9 Badges will confer ingame benefits without being Accolades. (I think these are the first such badges in the game.) So when i9 ships, this passage will need to be updated. Hopefully I will remember, but if not, there is always this note. --Colonel Jasmine 10:51, 28 April 2007 (PDT)
In-game sequential lists
Many pages of badges have in-game sequential lists. Unfortunately, Homecoming changed a number of badge numbers, and these aren't very sequential anymore. I'm not keeping them up to date as I work on badge stuff; perhaps once I'm done I'll write a tool to construct the sequential lists automagically, but no promises. - The badge ordering is stored separately from the rest of the badge data, so I don't have easy access to that info, but I'll check into it. --AboveTheChemist (talk) 22:23, 22 May 2020 (UTC)
- I stand corrected, the info was under my nose the entire time. Among the badge data files are separate files (for example, it's _accolade-badges.ts for Accolade badges) that contain the badge ordering info. New/Updated badges for Homecoming
I wasn't sure if this was best place to put this, but when I was building the new settitle list, I generated a list of the badges that have been added or altered for Issues 25/26. This included checking the Issue 25 and Issue 26 patch notes, the consolidated Issue 25 patch notes (accessed here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/11cLJiSYlfueJheOumRywG8Evip2Mjmu_30Y6ePaetqY/), the patch notes on the Homecoming forums (here: https://forums.homecomingservers.com/forum/58-patch-notes/) as well as reviewing the badge tracker spreadsheet (which was the predecessor to the Badger site and can be found here: https://forums.homecomingservers.com/topic/1331-badge-tracker-spreadsheet/), which noted many of the badges that were altered for Issue 25. In cases of disagreement, I deferred to the patch notes as found on this wiki. Any that I couldn't answer definitively, I noted below.
This list isn't necessarily comprehensive, but hopefully it is a good start. I also included a few badges at the top of the list from prior issues that had minor name changes (usually a capitalization change) that I have already addressed, although I still need to re-check the pages that link to each (using the Special:WhatLinksHere tool) to make sure I've updated the name everywhere it appears.

Note that some of the badges listed here may be Male/Female or Hero/Villain/Praetorian variants of the same badge. Some of them may be existing badges that were altered, in which case they will likely show a valid link, and others may be completely new badges created for Homecoming, which will likely show as a red link. It's also possible that some of them may have been updated for Homecoming already, I have not thoroughly checked the page for each badge to be sure. --AboveTheChemist (talk) 19:14, 22 May 2020 (UTC)

Badge "see also" and categories
I just noticed that some - but not all - of the Atlas Park explore badges say "See also: Villain Exploration Badges" and are in that category. This seems inappropriate to me; these badges are not "earnable by "pure" Villains who have not opened up access to Hero zones and contacts" (direct quote from that page).
However, what about International Spy Badge and others like it? I've left that in the Category, but removed the See Also, since otherwise the See Also links to a page that doesn't actually show that badge by any name.
I thought I would check in with others before I go on a more extensive search. Thunderforce (talk) 11:12, 27 May 2020 (UTC)
Praetorian Auction House badges
Noticed that the Praetorian badge sections and categories don't currently include the Wentworths Badges and Black Market Badges. Just tested this, and they are attainable as normal via the Trading House in Imperial City or through use of the /ah command. Resistance members are awarded Wentworths Badges and Loyalists are awarded Black Market Badges, as usual treated as Heroes and Villains respectively. Let me know what you think.
