Overview

The Fortunatas use their immense psychic talents to help Arachnos with its goals.

Arachnos has been gathering psychic children for years, and has built two great forces, each army part of Lord Recluse's strategy to fully control the forces that destroy all conquerors. The girls have their sight adjusted into the future (1), and thus Fortunatas are created: female Arachnos agents gifted with psychic powers.
By the time they reach the level of Seer their powers are so strong that they can even see the future. Fortunatas are Lord Recluse's front line troops in a war against fate itself.
Some Fortunatas volunteer to become Tarantulas, increasing their powers even further.

This Arachnos Corps is under command of Ghost Widow (2)

NOTABLE FORTUNATAS

Kalinda

Kalinda has a level of vision far beyond the others of her ilk. She's skilled to the point that she can see the future of beings such as powerful as the Arachnos Patrons, and even Lord Recluse's himself. It was Kalinda who told Lord Recluse that an opportunity was about to arise for him to change his fate. (4) This would eventually lead Lord Recluse to develop the so-called Operation: DESTINY.
It was also Kalinda who divined the list of the Destined ones that Arachnos would eventually break free of the Zig during Breakout (5).
Kalinda may be currently found in Mercy Island, checking the new arrivals to the Rogue Isles.

Veluta Lunata

This Fortunata was once one of Ghost Widow's personal aides, but she fell out of favor when she was discovered having an affair with an Arachnos soldier. She was then given an order: she had to kill her lover. She was given the option to join him as well, if she wished. When she killed her lover, Ghost Widow rewarded her with his soul, now hers forever.(3)
Currently, Veluta Lunata is tasked with monitoring the Arachnos ghost research program on Port Oakes.

Seer Marino

An Arachnos veteran of nearly 15 years of service, Fortunata Seer Pia Marino lost her older brother and her best friend during the same mission. Now she wants to know what actually happened back then. Her investigations will reveal the truth about powerful figures in the Arachnos army.

Fortunatas are Arachnos agents gifted with psychic powers. Those with aggressive abilities are tasked with taking down super-types, who often have little resistance to their deadly abilities.

The basic psionic attack does moderate damage and can slightly reduce a target's attack speed.

Psionic Lance (Only Level 35 and up) Ranged, Psionic, Foe -Recharge
The Psionic Lance has reduced your Attack rate.

Fortunatas don´t have any Melee attacks at all

Fortunata are resistant to Psionic Damage. The have improved Defense and Accuracy.

Fortunata Seers can glimpse moments into the future. They use this ability to increase the defense of the more mundane troops they slavishly lead into combat.

The most powerful of the Fortunatas are the Mistresses. These rare few have mastered numerous psychic abilities and risen to the top of Lord Recluse's beautiful Black Widows.

The Psychic Scream has reduced your Attack rate.

Telekinetic Blast Ranged, Moderate Damage(Smash/Psionic), Foe Knockback
You can use Telekinesis to Blast a targeted foe with the power of your mind. This attack deals Smashing and Psionic damage, and can knock your opponent back.

Will Domination Ranged, Psionic, Foe Sleep
Your will has been Dominated.

Scramble Thoughts (Only Level 34 and up) Ranged, Psionic, Foe Disorient
You have been Disoriented.

Psychic Wail (Only Level 34 and up) Point Blank Area of Effect, Psionic, Foe -Recharge, Disorient
The Psychic Wail has reduced your attack rate.
