Part Two: Push Comes To Shove

Briefing

You mentioned that Jones was talking to someone on the phone about a shipment? I've heard about The Skulls expecting a big shipment from one of my sources. I'm going to talk to her and see if I can get some more details. In the meantime, Genevieve called, she says she has some information about where some more Superadine dens could be located.

  • Talk to your source, I'll handle the Skulls

The Skulls are cold blooded killers, Character. Remember that when you are dealing with them. They are more than just nihilists, they actually believe that they can conquer death by becoming one with it.

Talk to Genevieve

Unnecessary Solicitation

Genevieve has been helping rehabilitate Superadine users. According to her, she just got some information on where another of The Skulls' drug dens is located.

Mission Objective(s)

  • Talk to Genevieve

Ambush! A short time after accepting the mission, a group of Skulls will ambush.

Hey, there's the cape who took down Jones, get 'em!

Briefing

My patients have been coming in from all over Kings Row and their stories of where they got their Superadine is almost never the same. The police are certain that the Skulls are just moving their dealer around, but I think it's a combination of that and a number of different pushers setting up shop. One of my patients was at one of these drug dens today down in Industrial Avenue. He gave me the address.

Genevieve hands you a slip of paper with the address written down.

I already informed the PPD, but I doubt they'll check it out anytime soon and I'm afraid that the Skulls will have packed up and left by then.

Character, if we don't start shutting these places down quickly then there will be more people addicted to Superadine than the hospital can handle. The evening news will have a field day if they see addicts lined up on the sidewalk outside.

Clue
Genevieve's Hand Written Note

This note details the address, or at least, the cross streets, in Industrial Avenue where one of Genevieve's patients said the Superadine den they went to was located. According to Genevieve, time is of the essence. The Skulls seem to be moving locations around in order to throw off cops and other heroes looking to bust their operations.

Shut Down the Superadine Den

Unnecessary Solicitation

Genevieve is right. If we can't shut down these drug dens then Kings Row is going to be overrun with Superadine addicts.

Mission Objective(s)

The place is pretty quiet. Maybe the Skulls have already abandoned the place. They may have left clues.

  • Shut Down the Superadine Den
    • Arrest all the Skulls
    • Look for clues as to where the Skulls went
    • Defeat the Skulls ambushes!
    • Defeat Mandible and Maxilla

Editor's Note:

Entering the mission, the map will be empty with the "Arrest all the Skulls" objective. Investigating a cardboard box glowie will reveal the following:

The bottom of this empty box is wet and has the telltale stink of Superadine. Perhaps it was used to store and move Superadine ampules and one of them broke.

The objective will change to "Look for clues as to where the Skulls went to" and a whiteboard can be investigated for the following:

The whiteboard appears to be partially erased, but the title remains; 'Dyne Sales'. It appears to have accidentally been written in with permanent marker. The Skulls were recording their sales here, but those figures are all gone now.

In the last room of the map, a portable lab can be investigated for the following:

You find a note that reads: 'This is where you die'
It's a trap!

The objective will change to "Defeat the Skulls ambushes!" and the map will populate with Skulls.

Ambush! After investigating the portable lab glowie, three waves of Skulls will ambush.

Mission Objective(s)

  • Shut Down the Superadine Den
    • Defeat Mandible and Maxilla

The Skulls knew you were coming. Did Genevieve betray you, or is someone else at the hospital working for the Skulls?

Editor's Note:

If there are any Skulls left on the map, they will run for the entrance and leave. They can be attacked and will not fight back during their escape.

Talk to Genevieve

Unnecessary Solicitation

I can't believe Genevieve would have set you up, but still, you'd better find out how the Skulls knew you were coming. Genevieve might be able to shed some light on that.

Mission Objective(s)

  • Talk to Genevieve

Briefing

Character, what happened?

The Skulls knew you were coming? But... how?

Oh no... You don't think that I... no, someone at the hospital must be feeding the Skulls information... but... why would anyone here want to help them?

I'll be a lot more careful with who I tell what to about the cops and local heroes.

Clue
On the payroll

After the Skulls ambushed you and you confronted Genevieve Sanders with it, she was shocked. She'd mentioned your involvement to a few other co-workers and concluded that word must have spread to someone on the hospital staff that is on the Skulls' payroll. She resolved to be more cautious with who she talks to about information she gives the police and local heroes so nobody falls into a Skulls ambush again.

Debriefing

Character! I really need your help. My source has gone missing!
