Reactive Defenses: Scaling Damage Resistance is an enhancement in the Reactive Defenses set.

Unique: No more than one enhancement of this type may be slotted per build.

Global: This enhancement functions as a set bonus and is always on, even if in a toggle that is turned off or even if the power is greyed out because of exemplaring. However, the bonus of this Special IO is turned off if one exemplars more than three levels below the level of the Special IO itself, unless it's from a PvP Set, in which case, level doesn't matter and it will always work.

The Reward Merit cost of this recipe is 50 Merits.

Effects

This enhancement grants damage resistance to all damage types. The bonus is +3% at full health and increases linearly to approximately 13% at very low health using the equation:

Resistance % = (-0.1 x Health %) + 12.9

This recipe cannot be bought from stores. It must be obtained by purchasing from a Reward Merit Vendor as an Invention Origin Enhancement Recipe, by Random Rare Recipe Roll, from another player at the Auction House, or by trading. It is a rare drop.

This recipe may be sold to a store for 200 inf per level. However, other players may be willing to pay more for it through the Auction House.
